One-To-One Appointments

This half hour session with a member of staff from the International Office offers you the opportunity to gather information about the course that you are interested in, offer conditions, fees, funding and deposits, visa/CAS process and any other questions you may have. The one to one appointments will take place in the Admissions and Recruitment Centre during your lunch hours.

Progression Talks

Our Progression Talks are designed to help you with your progression to the degree of your choice. We will explain your academic progression and give you further information about your offer letter to study with us. At the same time we will also clarify the visa and pre-CAS process in detail.
We will inform you about the event dates nearer at the time.

Experience Days

Our Experience Days are your chance to find out more about your different degree options in one subject area.

Many students know what area they are interested in studying but not which specific degree course they are most suited to. Some of you will be struggling to choose between Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, between Accounting and Finance or Business Management.

Our Experience Days are designed to help you make an informed decision on your future and choose the right degree for you.

The Experience Days are designed to offer breadth, so over one day you can attend a selection of course-specific workshops and lab tours.

Headstart Days

This event is the perfect chance to get ready for your first term at the University. The day will focus in detail on the first semester of your degree course and will often involve taster seminars or some pre-reading. There will also be opportunities to:

  • meet our Students’ Union
  • find out about clubs and societies
  • get prepped and ready for enrolment and induction
  • meet your fellow classmates
  • find out about the wide range of employment options available to you
  • get the full picture on support services available to help you succeed during your degree
